My writing style

Throughout my life, I have filled countless notebooks with poems, song lyrics, and diary-style stories. Even though Dutch is my mother language, I think, read, and write in English. I love to write personal scripts for the couples that ask for a bespoke ceremony and would like to present you with three samples of my writing style. I am proud to say that no AI was used at all, and each and every word came flowing from my pen.

Ann & Anthony

Look at Ann & Ant, we see two wonderfully kind people that destiny has brought together to now follow their path of life as husband and wife.

They told me that before they met, neither of them was really looking for a partner but love found them and hand in hand they fell, they fell in love, a love bigger than themselves and both their souls resonated into a deep and truthful relationship that they now have officially tied as husband and wife.

Love in its essence is ultimate kindness, and we all know Ann and Ant for being extremely kind people, even though I have to admit that the first time Ant came to me to give me a bear hug, and I think I can speak for all of us, I was a bit intimidated by the sheer size of him only to find myself feeling comforted and safe in the arms of this big gentle giant. Likewise all of us have been granted the warmth and kindness of Ann’s smile, feeling at ease to be ourselves in the company of a dear friend.

Lauren & Nick

Lauren and Nick, you have gathered a large group of people who are important to you and who are behind you right now. They are here to celebrate with you your love for each other and share the joy that you feel in your hearts. Today’s ceremony contains certain rituals that will symbolize the transition you are making. In the past you were boyfriend and girlfriend, giving birth to love and living in the glow of this amazing gift that life has to offer. Today you are married, the most important event in the career of your love and the proud blossoming of it, which you have invited all of us to witness here. In the future you will be husband and wife, dancing together to the beat of life until the end of days. Hopefully fate will delay so you can explore together all the experiences that love has in store for you.

Helen & Penny

I’ll give everyone here an example of the deep connection that Helen and Penny have, this is the story of their proposal. Both, independent of each other had the same idea at the same time that they were going to propose to the other that very day. Both had bought rings in the same shop, that came in a little turquoise box. Both had a plan of how to propose to the other and both didn’t stick to it and let the moment itself guide them to it. Both then hilariously realized how they simultaneously had come to the same place, at the same time and with the same intention. Isn’t that an amazing story? Penny, you called Helen your mirror image and Helen, in true Helen style said you were like Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum

And so their relationship has passed the test of time such that we can now celebrate its graduation. But this is not the only reason why we are here. Helen and Penny want to make a sign, a statement to show the world and, most importantly, to every one here that they are ready to commit to each other and take their relationship to the next level.
